Emergency Cell Phones

The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office provides used cell phones free of charge to senior citizens, victims of crime, and other members of the community who may have no way of contacting 911 in an emergency.  These cell phones have been deactivated but are still capable of calling 911 in an emergency.  If you or someone you know are in need of an emergency cell phone, please contact the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office at 540-564-3800.

People wishing to donate their used cell phones may drop them off at the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office at anytime. Please be sure to delete all personal information from your phone before donating.
